Details:
Profit-share professional theatre company based in Rugby, Warwickshire. Rehearsing on Monday evenings, our primary aim is to give actors in this area an opportunity to continue their professional acting careers without impacting on their day work or family life. Working in conjunction with Warwickshire College, each cast is made up of 50% professionals and 50% Performing Arts students so there is a responsibility of every professional actor involved to impart their training and working knowledge of the industry to the students. We will be performing in Mid April and rehearsals begin on 14th January.

Egeus
Gruff and pompous father to Hermia.
Males, aged 40 to 75 from Warwickshire, United Kingdom
Oberon/Theseus
King of the Fairies. Must have a powerful stage presence, strong vocals and very comfortable physically
Males, aged 21 to 45 from Warwickshire, United Kingdom
Puck
Servant to Oberon. This "shrewd and Knavish" sprite needs to be pysically fit, nimble. Dance experience may be useful, however comic timing is they key. A childike characterisation is required.
Any gender, aged 18 to 30 from Warwickshire, United Kingdom
Mechanicals
Members of an amateur performing arts company, these characters are clownlike innocents who need excellent comic timing and high energy.

Philostrate
Downbeat servant to the king. Must be world weary and have very dry sense of humour.
Any gender, aged 25 to 80 from Warwickshire, United Kingdom
Titania/ Hippolyta
Queen of the Fairies. As Oberon.
