Details:
Lost in Thought is a heartfelt drama focusing on a man’s search for his home.
Mark Falcon left his house one day and never returned, Mark had an unexplained injury to the head which left him with amnesia and with no way of finding his family and home.
We follow him 2years after his ‘disappearance’ to find a desolate scruffy man with no identity. He lives with a kind woman who looks after him and keeps his hope in finding his past alive. He sketches daily, and his art reflects his mind’s search for his memories. He frequents his local cafe daily which is now his main activity and stares at passers by trying to find a familiar face.
One day a young girl enters the cafe and catches Mark’s attention. He goes home and is gripped by her memory. He sees her a few more times in the cafe, the last time he sees her there he is compelled to follow her home.
As she is greeted by her mother at the door, a word is used which triggers his memories into coming back, thick and fast. Over come with emotion, he realises who he is and that he was following his daughter, Natalie, back to their home.
This short is an image led piece and will be shot on a Canon 5D.
