We are a group of students at Buckinghamshire New University and have been given the task of making a short film.
The script we have chosen is a based on a man suffering from a breakdown due to growing up around domestic violence. ( It is implied he suffers with mental issues suggesting that he can no longer determine what is right from wrong - e,g he knows beating women is bad but he grew up with his father telling him that was acceptable.)
He becomes obsessed with finding or replacing his mother who abandoned him as a young child. When he finds a women with various similarities to his mothers, he kidnaps her. The film then shows the stuggles he faces as the women tries to convince him she is not his mother.

This is our first major oppourtunity to put our talents to work. All the actors chosen will be given a copy of the film that can be added to their show reel in hope to further their experiences for their career.
