Synopsis:
Frank (45) refused entry by cinema owner Tim (32).
This prompts a confrontation between the two men resulting in Frank being chucked out. Frank then Encounters Hugh (40) – an ill-equated friend who plans to take revenge on Tim, although Frank is reluctant to do so.

Frank (50) – grumpy protagonist:
Frank is a secondary school teacher, with a good sense of humour and an ordinary routine. Since approaching middle age, he has however started to become a bit of a grumpy old man.

Tim – (32) Antagonist and Cinema Owner:
Tim is single and lives alone. Tim is proud of his appearance and how he presents himself to customers.

Hugh – (45) Delinquent friend:
Hugh Lives in a council estate, and has been unemployed for a long time. Hugh has a very confident personality and a good sense of humour. But his lack of fortune can result in a bitter attitude towards others.
