Base Tikes are the 'boyband' of Shakespeare. Imagine if Simon Cowell got into classical theatre! We are a community interest company looking to pilot the 'brand' next year with an initial troupe of six or seven guys to rehearse and perform one or possibly two plays - Hamlet will definitely be one of them. If you live in or near Birmingham, are on a gap year or trying to get into drama school and being sent away to get another year of experience, this could be really good for you. The key is that you are young, cheeky, willing to learn and work hard. It is key that you are up for getting heavily involved in promotion - that promotes YOU, of course, and gets your face and name around.
