About Me

My name is Anya Gartside, I am 17 years old and an aspiring actress / model. I am intending to continue Drama / Theatre Studies for A2 as well as university. I go to Princess Helena College in Preston, but I live in Palmers Green, North London. However, I am willing to travel for work. I am also studying History and Psychology for A level, and English Lit. I am also quite interested in fashion and seasonal trends. I like to think I am quite artistic in my style, especially in the ever-changing colour of my hair. However, I would be willing to change it for particular jobs that require such changes.

I am a very sociable person and very lively and happy a considerable amount of the time. Despite this I can be a very strong-willed person.


I am also particularly interested in music and listen to a wide variety of genres, especially fold-rock or acoustic.

General Experience

I have worked for a week at Victoria Theatre in Central London backstage with Billy Elliot and so I have seen the backstage workings of a long-running production and the amount of work that is required.

Qualifications & Training

A grade for GCSE Drama. Waiting on a potential very good result for AS Level Drama.

I am a very organized person and I try my absolute best never to be late for anything and I always leave myself plenty of time to get work done. I am very willing to learn and accept constructive criticism and try my best to learn from my mistakes and work on whatever I have been suggested.

Interests & Hobbies

I like to read a variety of genres of books such as comedy, thriller and murder mysteries. I also enjoy casual playing of the flute and singing as well as taking singing lessons once a week at school. I am interested in attending the gym as much as possible and especially interested in swimming. I also spend a lot of my time out with friends and socializing.
