About Me

I am about to become retired, I am 62 years of age but having worked for many years with people much younger than myself I tend to have a rather younger outlook on life!!
I like to experience new things and in fact trained for a completely new career when I was 58 after years of being a Hotel Manager and wedding co-ordinator! I thought I was very brave and loved the new experience my friends and family thought I was mad, held their breath and waited for the tears...they never came! and now? well I'm ready for a change again!!
I have trained staff in a classroom situation and made the subject matter interesting even when it was hard work and the subject matter often sad and scary!
I have been the voice on various answering service messages within the NHS!
I can be broad as owt!! or very refined, depending on to whom I am speaking. I was born in Staffordshire (Potteries) went to an all girls school where our acccent was "trained" out!! I have lived in Lancashire for over 30 years but I can take or leave the accent as fits my purpose.

I have no acting skills apart from school drama. I have done presentations in front of 200 people to sell soap!!

Interests & Hobbies

Reading, walking, talking and debating, singing (badly) was a choir mistress for 11 years! local politics, quizzes, my 3 grown up children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Skype (2/3 of my family sadly live at the other side of the world in New Zealand) my daughters rock band who I watch whenever I am able. Music all types from Rock to choral .
