About Me

I am what i would call an average teenage boy. I always aim to have as much fun as possible but also to do as best as possible in whatever i do. I am driven to success and am a determined and focused individual. I can work effectively on my own but also in a groyup, taking suggestions and ideas of others into consideration before trying to define the best solution that will benefit the largest amount of people.

I like to socialise as much as possible and meet new and exciting people. I do like to party but am able to decide when enough is enough and be able to stand back when there is something that is more important coming up in the future.

As well as acting i have also experienced roles in other aspects of theatre. Experience & Qualifications

Qualifications & Training

I passed GCSE drama with an A in the coursework but was unfortunately let down by the written paper and resulted in a C. At International Baccalaureate Diploma level i passed the Theatre Studies course with a 5 out of 7. Outside of school i have been a member of the York Theatre Royal Youth Theatre and in weekly 2 hour sessions have been exposed to a variety of styles. This has been complimented at school, particularly in IB where the focus was entirely on styles of theatre that were previously unknown. Examples of styles that i have been taght on include, Artaud, Epic theatre and Brecht, Puppetry and a strong focus on Naturalism. Naturalism is my personal favourite style due to its principles of truth and realism.

Relevant Skills

I am determined to succeed in whatever i attempt. I am conscientious and well mannered, thinking of others before myself. I am punctual and organised, friendly and pleasant with a strong work ethic that enables me to meet deadlines effectively.

Interests & Hobbies

I love to read in my free time, preferring classics such as 'The Lord of the Rings' Trilogy and books of that nature. I also enjoy History, which i am studying at Leicester university starting October 2011, as well as Shakespeare and other drama texts. I have, in the past, been involved in archery and karate but began to become more focused on acting instead.
