About Me

I am an aspiring MC/event Host who has done some unpaid voluntary work for friends events as well as the local community centre running games nights. In addition to this I have worked for 2 years as a tour guide and entertainer in France for an English travel company. I would guide school trips around World War One battlefield sites in Northern France and Belgium being the voice of the group fulfilling a list of itineraries daily. On top of this in the evenings we would entertain other groups on site running outdoor and indoor games nights, quiz nights, school discos, crepe making, egg drop amongst many others. This gave me a passion and desire to get involved in the entertainment industry as a presenter or host with the ability to include a range of personality traits at my disposal including; comedy, professionalism, empathy, education etc.

I have hosted a quiz night voluntarily for a local community centre as well as an awards event for a friends family business. In addition to this working as a tour guide I would present daily itineraries to groups of all different areas of expertise. I have also worked a few 5 star establishments in the Concierge department, mostly short term jobs, but giving me more experience to talk to a wide range of people from different backgrounds and with various desires.

As previously mentioned I have hosted quiz nights before, in addition to an awards ceremony adding a bit of comedy to the professional surroundings. The other half of my tour guiding work was as an evening entertainer for school groups after their long days on tour. This would vary depending on the day as sometimes the groups needed a relaxing/winding down in the evenings whereas others would require a more energetic/uplifting experience. I was more than capable of catering to both needs with my ability to run successful quiz or crepe making nights to running a school disco, outdoor games or the much loved egg drop events.

I am more than happy to take additional qualifications to improve my CV adding more skills to my repertoire to further my career in this field.
