About Me

I have green screen filming experience, I have used autocue and I can do live presenting and interview guests. My love for fashion, shopping and selling the story has led me to successfully passing an audition with QVC and I am awaiting a slot as a guest presenter. I can narrate and present clearly and confidently in front of the camera.

I have presented to live audiences for many years in my role as an Education and Training Specialist in the pharmacy profession. I deliver sessions with passion and energy and quickly build rapport to establish an engaged audience. Unexpected things can happen during live presentation and I have the ability to think on my feet. I am articulate with a natural reading style and I can tailor my communication according to the subject and audience. I need strong planning and organisational skills when delivering live presentations and to be an effective timekeeper to ensure events finish on time.

I research for new presentations and training programmes and develop and write these programmes.

I currently support the training of pharmacists working in GP practices and I am passionate about combining my professional and presentation skills to be involved in heath documentaries e.g. a day in the life of a GP practice pharmacist and how to encourage patients to agree to seeing the pharmacist as an alternative to seeing the GP.

I am also a qualified homeopath with an interest in bridging the gap between mainstream and holistic medicine, promoting the benefits of prevention being better than cure and participating in debates about whether holistic therapies work in practice.

I have enhanced communication skills, having attended a Health Coaching programme in 2014 through The Performance Coach. Having completed the programme, I have discovered the importance of respect for the beliefs, opinions and values of others and that people decide and act when their inner motivation to change is ignited. I have the ability to do this because I have empathy, I try to understand and have respect for others’ unique perspectives whilst staying true to my values, I share what I know and understand through my stories and experiences and influence through reasoning and presenting the facts rather than relying on opinion alone.

I am a good role model for the health and beauty industry with a keen interest in looking after myself through cooking and eating great but healthy food, keeping fit, being knowledgeable about health as a pharmacist, complying with public health messages and fighting the ageing process through a meticulous skincare regime and a love of all things cosmetic. As my hubby says, my body is his temple and I aim to keep it that way!
