About Me

I'm David, live in St Andrews, Fife, with my partner. I work for a Wildlife Organisation and train young adults in practical Conservation skills in rural settings as well as urban environments.I find it rewarding being able to pass on relevent skills and teaching young people all about our wildlife and environment.

Experience & Qualifications

General Experience

I have some film extra experience, having been in the film 'Regeneration' which was an adaptation of the Pat Barker WW1 trilogy. Part of the BBC Scotland excess programme about the film regeneration and being interviewed on location.I had a talking part in a short film by the Edinburgh based company Sprockateers,'Over land and Sea'. BBC Countryfile describing a wartime unit formed in 1940 as part of their remembrence sunday programme(Nov 2008) Game of Thrones (Oct2009) Day is Night (Silly Wee Films) June 2010

Qualifications & Training

I have from school most of my 'O' levels (giving my age away now !!)City and Guild certificates and Lantra qualifications, both Military and civilian. Full UK Driving licence.
D32/33 Assesors award, various H&S, qualifications.First aid (current)

Relevant Skills

I have good people skills, having served with the British Army. I have worked in many places/countries and gained excellent skills,some of which includes, weapon handling and combat experience.
I am a trained combat medic.During my military career i have gained Parachuting qualifications from foreign nations during military exchange programmes.These various skills may be of use to any one requiring authentic/accurate modern military skills for Film/TV/etc.

I have a very mixed bag of interests,Some of which includes,The Roman occupation of Scotland,Military history.Writing.Wildlife and
my 2 Jack Russells!!
