About Me
With myself being a slightly chubby eight year old who seemed unable to kick a football straight, it took me awhile to know what I really wanted to do and then acting came along and I really feel in love with it and I've never stopped since. From then on I joined various Youth Theatres until I was sixteen. The diversity of all the roles that I had the opportunity to take on during my time in the groups was amazing. In particular, I really enjoyed playing the 'Creature' in the immersive play 'Frankenstein and play in 'Bugsy' in the musical 'Bugsy Malone'. In Christmas 2013 I took part in the professional panto at the Princes Hall, Aldershot, playing the part of 'John Darling' in 'Peter Pan'. This was such an brilliant experience working with some very talented professional actors. This also lead on to me recently getting a job assistant teaching 9-11's Youth Theatre at the Princes Hall.
For the last five I have taken part in three 'Shakespeare Schools Festival' performances. Playing the part of 'Henry V' at the age of fourteen firstly, and then going on to play the part of 'Bottom' which I am proud to say received a distinction. Finally, I tackled a role that I personally felt was a real challenge in terms of getting the emotional depth of the right tone, however it was a fantastic performance and I loved every second of it.
About a year ago I wrote my own independent film and am now with a big group of friends passionately in the middle of shooting it. This is a real passion for all of us and we are looking forward to a release in June. Also in January I went away to Hastings to shoot a Graduation film for the University of Creative Arts. This was a wonderful experience and I felt so happy to spend a week doing what I love. I have been in love with acting for many years and I really cannot see myself doing anything else. Its an amazing passion for me and one that I can't wait to learn more about it every single day.
