About Me
Rosemarie Gibson is an actress, writer, singer, and general performer originating from Stoke on Trent. From an early age it became clear that Rose had an obvious passion for anything creative. She began singing lessons in School, and has performed live ever since. She keeps a steady presence on YouTube, keeping her fans up to date with video-blogs, and snippets of her performances. At the age of 15, Rose joined a local drama club. This sparked an interest in acting, and soon she began to write her own sitcom type shorts (which can be seen on her YouTube page). At around the age of 16, during her time at Sixth Form, Rose began to become acquainted with local youth actors. This resulted in Rose participating in her first (outside of school) theatrical performance. This youth production gave Rose the acting bug, and it wasn't long after that she scouted around looking for opportunities to participate in other performances. At the age of 17, she took part as a dancer and club goer in the nightclub scenes for Soul Boy (starring Martin Compston and Felicity Jones). Not long after this experience, she decided to get back into her singing which lead to the creation of Fallen Floral. Fallen Floral is an acoustic duo, songs are co-written by Zak Nixon and Rosemarie Gibson. Their songs vary from the rock genre to country. By the time Rose turned 19 she'd joined various acting websites, and was already making her name known as a local independent talent. It wasn't long before she was cast as supporting and leading roles in various independent feature films, and shorts. For the last six years Rose has performed both dramatically and musically. At the age of 21 she graduated from Staffordshire University in the field of English, this resulted in Rose pursuing a literature path in her spare time. In 2016, after years of consistent blogging, her first article was published. Interestingly, her first published article was about 'Life as an ace' which inadvertently resulted in Rose being an advocate for asexuality and those on the spectrum (such as demisexuals). 2016 was also the year in which Rose came out as a lesbian, but still insisted on identifying partially as a demisexual due to sexual attraction still only appearing after a strong emotional connection was formed first. As of the time of writing (June, 2016) Rose is working on a documentary on Asexuality and its spectrum, as well as working on her first lesbian erotic novel. She's still playing parts in films, and has expanded into the modelling field but has stressed a need to do more writing.
