About Me

I seek work as an actor. I am a fit reliable and punctual individual who takes direction easily. My identifying number at IDBM is 8130189 where I am listed as playing Rupert in an experimental online film called “Hello Au Revoir” written and directed by Jason Croot. Recently I played a silent role as “The Technician” and then a Conductor in a short avant-garde film for Ivy House filmed by Jessye Curtis. I have just completed the filming for in a short playing a speaking role as a gruff and not entirely well meaning character called “Dave” in a film named Sonny shot at the London Film school and then the Chaplain in an episode of Murder Maps series 2 which will be shown on the Yesterday channel in the UK and Netflix in the US. Apart from these named productions I am involved in an number of other enjoyable productions.
My natural accent is received pronunciation but I can also do a number of provincial and London accents together with an American accent.
As well as being a blogger of over five years’ experience, and a traditionally published author with a reputation for getting inside a character’s motivation I have a great interest in travel, finance and current affairs and worked in the financial services industry for close on nine years, while travelling widely as a matter of choice
I am a film junkie who enjoys character based dramas and rom-coms. I have a love of indie and world cinema and I wish to engage this enthusiasm more directly within my acting career. As a result of my prior career outlined below I have worked in a range of industries at almost every level from a factory worker in a bread making factory, through to machine operator, then office worker and company director. My career has given me an insight into the drama of life, looked at from a wide range of perspectives, and I bring those insights to my acting and creative work.
