General Experience

I am a journalist who started in local and national newspapers back in the 1980s; became self-employed and ran my own publishing company in the 1990s; became a freelance estate agent during the financial crash before being headhunted in 2011 to become managing editor of an international ethical business magazine. In 2013, I left to begin work on my book, called Psychopath Economics.

Qualifications & Training

I have nine O levels, two A levels and a degree in Political Economy.

I have strong writing skills, and I'm articulate, confident and engaging in public presentations. I also have a clear and distinctive speaking manner and voice.

Interests & Hobbies

Professionally, I'm interested in: current affairs, economics, social psychology, the environment and sustainable living. When I'm not working, I love: food, drink and socialising with friends; spending time with my partner and three children; travel at home and abroad, as well as coastal, town or country walks; watching sport, especially football, and playing Badminton; film and music of almost all genres; alternative therapies; and psychic abilities and experiences.
