About Me
I host my weekly Live radio shows by the name of A Vibe With Moe. A Vibe With Moe, is all about bringing some of the biggest Hip Hop, Afroswing, rap-grime tracks taking over the UK right now from the best homegrown UK and US talents, to radio.
Before presenting, I was looking into becoming an A&R and to build on to this I made connections and began attending Universal Music UK for meetings with A&R managers at Polydor record Label and Virgin EMI records. I saw that to reach this role will take a lot of time, which is not a problem. So, I decided to continue further with radio presenting as the process was going better than predicted and then later on bring in the works of A&R.
I got my first volunteer radio presenting slots with Locked Online Radio in May 2018 and just after 1 month, I was picked up by my current radio station Urban Xtra, I saw it as a better opportunity so I moved along with them and have been with them for 3 weeks now. As a presenter I create my own playlists for each weekly show, I plan and write my own scripts for each show, I create a new game to play for entertainment and to break the ice with artists, I promote myself and guests, I also find and contact potential guest via email for bookings before continuing onto sending out confirmation emails.
I\'m also apart of a Press Team with my current radio station. Press team consists of attending events, whether it be festivals, EP/Single launch parties etc, to interview artists and film the event. This enables me to build my confidences, my communication skills, it also allows me to network and build relations with those who hold interests in music too.
I assist in managing an upcoming music artist who goes by the name of JayyMR, with an entertainment brand who also specialise in clothing called GoneClub London. My role is to attend meetings and show/gig bookings with the artist, as well as find him a producer, give input on his music and videos while they\'re being edited.
