It was at age 16 that I really started acting, in secondary school. I played Juliet in Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet' for our Shakespeare's schooled festival. We then got called back to perform again to a different crown! I went on to do acting in college for one year. Where I acted in plays such as A midsummer night's dream (Hermia) and Truth & Reconciliation - touring around secondary schools for two weeks.

I started at the secondary school quoir at age 16, where we sang at school events and our graduation ceremony. I formed a small girl band with three of my friends a few years ago. We performed at church activities and worked well together. We all have different lives now but I continue to sing at church activities.

My cousin and I auditioned for Britain's Got Talent when we were younger. We had a dance group which we named 'Charisma' - inspired by the BGT winners Diversity. We then faded apart. However, my cousin and I participated a few times in a family traditional African dance group called Mixed Roots.

At around 13 years old I got to participate in BBC school report- where me and another girl student had the opportunity to interview former American politician Jesse Jackson over the phone. We then were interviewed about it and appeared in the front page of our local newspaper the 'South London Press'.

General Experience

I have served a Mormon mission for my church for 18 months where I learned to talk to all kinds of people and deal with any situation where I would have to put myself in another person's shoes. I had a companion at all times, therefore I learned how to work as a team.
