About Me

I began dancing at the age of three and trained in Cecchetti Ballet at the Janet Hegarty School of Ballet for fourteen years up to Intermediate Foundation standard where I achieved a Distinction (A). During this time I danced in eight full-length ballets at Norwich Theatre Royal, including three performances of The Nutcracker with English Youth Ballet in 2005. I began singing at an early age, performing in variety shows, musicals and pantomimes, as well as having piano lessons where I reached grade five standard. I realised my passion for musical theatre in 2005 when I was given the role of Frenchy in a school production of Grease. In 2006, I was offered a week's work experience at Norwich Theatre Royal, working with the cast and crew of Starlight Express. This great opportunity to meet and work with industry professionals inspired me to pursue a career in musical theatre. After completing my A-levels, I was accepted on a one-year intensive course at Kent and Surrey Academy of Performing Arts (KSA) where I graduated in July with the ATCL Performance Diploma in Musical Theatre (Distinction) and KSA Diploma in Musical Theatre (Merit).
