Jel Djelal is a British born actor with Turkish Cypriot parents he was always a keen sportsman playing football for his local school and clubs and finishing his career with mini spurs to focus on martial arts. He is now classed as a martial arts specialist, with over 20 year's experience in numerous disciplines. Based in North London, Jel is an actor of many genres - predominantly action, but also known for more serious roles, and even comedy. Jel has studied and still continues to study the art of method acting. Jel has a presence about him standing at 5'9 with a muscular and athletic physique. Full on 'hard-man', loveable rogue or regular family man - these are just some of the varied roles Jel takes on with ease. What sets Jel apart is his fighting abilities. He is a Black Belt 2nd Dan martial Arts in Taekwondo, Hapkido and kook su won. He use to teach Freestyle Kickboxing and has studied Muay Thai Boxing for over 12 years at the highest level from Thailand to the UK. Jel has been trained as a method actor and still continues to study method acting he will always immerse himself into the role in question, to ensure the very best performance. Jel's role as an executive producer has led to a red carpet event at the BAFTA's. The short film, Unborn Justice, was one of Jel's triumphs, being well received at The Cannes Film Festival. Jel Djelal displayed his multi talents here, being one of the main actors, executive producer, writer and fight choreographer.
