About Me

I am a young looking 55 year old who has in the past been interviewed as a part of high profile archaeology digs (Waterloo Uncovered, Fen Spitfire dig 2015, Vindolanda as a part of the Defence Archaeology Group) both in the UK and abroad, I am a qualified archaeologist.
I also have experience in the Police as a civilian working on all levels of crime reduction including conducting interviews. I have also been in the RAF and the Army and can handle older weapons and am comfortable with weapons of any era, from the Viking Period onwards. I can use a sword and also fence. I am also an experienced horse rider. I can provide my own costumes (male and female) for the 17th century and a more limited wardrobe for the 14th and 15th centuries. I am willing, enthusiastic and can follow direction.

General Experience

I have most recently been a student, but before that, I worked with the Police for nearly 20 years in varying roles from office administration through to investigating Major Crimes and also interviewing and file preparation for volume crime. I have also worked as a groom in the past as well as having served time in both the Army and the RAF.

I have a BA(Hons) and an MA(Res) in Archaeology.
