Imagine yourself to play that character who brings joy to people. Who has values and who is relatable to somebody out there. Everyone has an actor or actress or a character they admire. We all have heroes and characters who have been portrayed so well that we wish we knew them. What a pleasure and privilege it would be to be able to bring that to someone. That is one of the things which draw me to acting: as the actor, you can make such a difference to a person\'s life. Playing the character of Phyliss Waterbury in an amateur dramatic society\'s production of The Railway Children was such a special experience and a wonderful role because she was so relatable and I understood her. And I took comfort from that understanding.
I have always been drawn to the Arts through literature, film, plays and music. I absolutely love heart-warming, happy stories because they allow you to switch off from the worries and strain of the outside world and enter a world of joy. I believe that is so important as today\'s society is such a busy and frantic one. I have a wonderful imagination and find it easy to step into characters who, before long, become dear friends.

Acting
