About Me

I am in my mid fifties but still young in attitude and outlook. My early career in theatre was the happiest time of my life and I would love the opportunity to do more performance work. As well as acting in theatre and television I worked for three years for Princess Cruises as part of the entertainment team. I presented game shows, quizzes, cookery demos and arts and craft demos as well as taking part in shows to entertain passengers.
Back on dry land I then worked as a London tour guide doing live tours on open topped tourist buses for three years - this was great in the summer but not so enjoyable in the winter but it was an interesting job.
Truth is over the last 12 years I have had to work in conventional jobs but I have always missed working in a performance focussed environment.

Blendon Communications Ltd: Presented at Press launches and lifestyle events. 2001 -2003

AutoTrader Ltd: Did live commentary for fun scalectrix races on the Autotrader stand for the London and Birmingham Motor shows ( 2 years running).

Social Hostess and Entertainer. Hosted game shows e.g Mr&Mrs, cookery demonstrations, arts & crafts demonstrations, hosted quizzes (had my own lounge), some singing with pianist, took part in shows (e.g pub night show, Pyjama nights, Island night).

General Experience

I trained for the theatre and in my early career worked in rep for several years - gaining my equity card working as an acting ASM at Frinton and Soutwold theatres for a season. I then went on to work as understudy at Chichester Festival Theatre and did two seasons Theatr Clwyd doing acting educational workshops.
I have had two small acting roles in television back in the 1980s ('Captital City' and the last series of 'Vandervaulk'

Qualifications & Training

B.A. Hons Degree in DRAMA & THEATRE ARTS gained from attending the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama.
