Experience & Qualifications

General Experience

I began dancing from the age of 2.5yrs and over the years have been taught various styles including ballet, tap, modern, jazz, street, hip-hop, locking, popping, boogaloo and most recently have learnt some basic salsa!

I have a high stamina & good flexibility, I am able to learn choreography quickly and actually perform the dance from the moment I learnt the routine.

Over my teenage years I have been extremely lucky enough to have had training and master classes with well-known & established choreographers and dancers jeffrey daniels of shalamar (who co-coreographed michael jackson video-beat it), twilight players (as seen in sophie ellis bexters video - murder on the dance floor), nike women (nike rockstar workout house), strictly come dancing coreographer Richard Marcel and also salah (winner france's version of britains got talent).

I have appeared in various amateur dramatics & dance shows/performances with local drama schools in Essex and London.

I attended Andrea Poynter's Dramarama School from January 2003 and Melinda Whiting's Love2Act www.melindawhiting.co.uk from September 2003. I am a quick learner who is confident and articulate!

Feb-Apr 2008: Lead role in a South london performance aimed at teens to promote the dangers of gun crime. Character was a know it all, bossy teenage schoolgirl with lots of attitude. She was also a flirty show-off with lots of sex appeal who played all the boys in her hand.

Interests & Hobbies

I love all kinds of sports and have an interest in media which I studied at BTEC level in school. I studied advanced Sport & Exercise Sciences at South East Essex College.
In school I participated in netball and had a regular attendance to physical education lessons; at college I enjoyed practical sports lessons such as tennis, badminton, football, athletics, volleyball, basketball, hockey etc. which I also taught at local primary schools as part of sport coaching.

I’ve grown up in a rugby-orientated family and spent Saturdays watching my dad on the pitch, I also played rugby between the ages of 6-13years; it is something I still enjoy to watch either on the TV or at the local club, especially travelling to Twickenham to watch England play! If there was a local women’s team then I’d probably still be playing!

I attended gymnastics for a few years as a child. I also enjoy swimming and try to go at least once a week. Thanks to having a large group of male friends, I know the offside rule for football and like to catch a bit of match of the day! I also enjoy ice skating and rollerblading.

Miscellaneous Information

I am qualified at level one in sports coaching and am currently learning to drive.
