I\'m Caodhan, a twenty-one year old vocalist and bassist from Belfast, Ireland, currently studying Popular Music Production and Performance at Southampton Solent University.

Employment History & Experience

I was in choirs from the age of 7 to 18, including competing in the final of BBC Radio Ulster School Choir of the Year Competition in 2015. I have experience performing lead vocals and live electronics for my band D.A.V.E in Belfast, with whom I won the Live Electronics category at the NI Music Skills competition in 2017, and playing bass and backing vocals with university bands in Southampton.

General Experience

From August 2014 until August 2017 I worked as counter staff in a pizza takeaway.
In June 2015 I volunteered at the AVA Festival in T13. I helped to set up the venue, painting walls and decorating spaces for the festivalgoers as well as cleaning the warehouse in preparation. On the night of the festival I was in charge of the merchandise stand, which involved handling money and keeping track of stock. In June 2016 I volunteered again and this time spent most time working at Front Of House checking wristbands and tickets.
From 09 – 12/06/2016 I worked as a labourer for "Body and Soul Festival", in this job I worked on building and assembling stage design pieces with a small group of other workers.

Qualifications & Training

I received two A*s, five As and 3 Bs in my GCSEs in 2013 including As in English, mathematics and ICT.
I have A Levels in Physics, Mathematics, and Technology and Design, which I received in 2015.
I received grades Distinction Merit Merit in my extended diploma in Music Technology in 2017.
I'm currently studying for a BA Hons Degree in Music Performance and Production at Southampton Solent University
