About Me

Approaching fifty and I still don\'t know what to be when I grow up. Thirty odd years towing the line for conveyor belt multinationals makes me keen to use my last couple of decades working in a rewarding and creative environment with like minded individuals. I have chosen my ID as Barney Large to help describe me physically and by character. My frame puts me as an ideal spearhead for the new Mighty Atom males and outwardly I am every bit as in your face. Thankfully, twenty years of marriage has tempered the danger of being overbearing. I have learned to shut up when told and my enthusiasm is aimed to be infectious and targetted.

I have never taken acting lessons or indeed done extra or minor performing roles. I can however, draw transferable skills in convincing Mrs Large her bum doesn\'t look big in anything, that she makes total sense at all times. I have sold with Hollywood sincerity through Churchill Dog\" nodding as my old boss spewed out yet another brain dead idea. Life is a cabaret old chum and I\'ve done plenty of boardwalking in the past 49+ years.

General Experience

No formal acting experience at all but a colourful life and sharp appreciation for people's characters and moods offer strong sources to draw from. My working life has been with large companies in the manufacturing sector and I did train as a secondary school teacher.

Qualifications & Training

All formal qualifications are technical and scientific. BSc (Hons) in Molecular Science with Chemistry and a HNC in Materials Science.
