Details:

Are you a multi-talented musician looking for a new role where you can teach and perform on a daily basis? If so, we would like to hear from you! We are currently seeking a talented and inspiring Rock Choir Leader to take over existing choirs in Kings Lynn, Wisbech, Fakenham, Peterborough & Downham Market. You will be joining the UKs largest and most popular contemporary choir, with nearly 25000 members led by musicians like you in over 300 local communities nationwide.

As a Rock Choir Leader, you will be fully trained for the role and will need a high standard of piano and vocal skills (Equivalent to ABRSM grade 7). You will also need a positive and energetic approach to work and a caring, happy and charismatic personality.

Our Leaders teach a minimum of 4 evenings a week during term time and have long summer holidays. You would lead your choir members to concerts on a local and national basis. We have a supportive and friendly HQ team who provide you with all the training, resources and arrangements you need to lead your choirs to the best of your ability and you would also train once a month with your peers. There is also the opportunity to be part of recording experiences, and TV and radio appearances!

You will need a driving licence, your own car, a keyboard and PA system.

If you can't see past your winter schedule or panto season do apply now as training will take place after these commitments with the aim of leading your choirs from this April. We will also contribute towards your travel expenses for the interview.

Here is a quote about the role from one of our choir leaders - "Being a Rock Choir Leader means that nearly every weekday night, I get to spend quality time with 50 to 100 of my closest friends." Maxine (Cheshire and Lancashire Rock Choir Leader)
