Innovative Performing Arts company Fusion Youth Theatre is looking to recruit high calibre, experienced singing/music and dance teachers to start ideally by the end of January 2015 (or sooner if possible).

Fusion is an exciting, rapidly-expanding youth theatre company and casting agency, offering all-round performing arts instruction across the main genres of dance, singing and drama through regular weekly tuition, associate professional experiences, workshops, regular review performances and annual productions.

Nearing the end of our five successful year, we are reviewing our staffing structure and require excellent practitioners to join the singing and dance departments.

Our main sessions (for students aged 8 and upwards) are currently on Sunday mornings, from 10.30am to 1.30pm at City Limits Dance Studios on Penistone Road, Sheffield. We teach across all ages and abilities with students split into three lively and well-attended groups – juniors (8-10yrs), intermediates (11-13yrs) and seniors (14-18yrs).

Fusion mixes contemporary musical theatre, edgy pop culture and a strong emphasis on student creativity through our own original work. We achieve high levels of challenge as well as enjoyment and maintain a key focus on excellent relationships with staff, students and parents.

We are seeking highly motivated teachers with a diverse repertoire of material as well as knowledge of current pop trends and contemporary theatre. In addition we expect all staff to be energetic, ambitious and flexible, especially around the time of our summer production.
