Details:

If you play the following instruments to a professional level, then we would l love to hear from you: Trumpet, French Horn, Bass Trombone, Flute/ Piccolo, Clarinet/Soprano Sax, Clarinet/Bass Clarinet, Violin, Cello, Bass, Keyboard. We are creating a team of gifted musicians to work alongside our talented composers, arrangers and lyricist on the original score of a new musical, set in the arena of the Easter Rising.

We aim to create an exciting and electrifying recording that will inspire, enthral and lead to a full realisation of the work. This is an excellent opportunity to work with experienced creative professionals in order to create what promises to be a unique, entertaining, and provocative piece of theatre.

Doctor Marc Naylor, our Musical Director, has worked on outstanding productions, such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Bugsy Malone, Oklahoma, Carousel and Sweeney Todd and many others.

1916 The Musical is scheduled to premiere in Dublin, 2011, after we have launched a live television audition show in order to cast the leading roles.

This will be broadcast both in the UK and Ireland, for which live musicians will also be required. We would hope to continue working with our original partners during these stages.

As a result, although currently we are offering voluntary roles, there will be a number of exciting paid roles set to arise in the future.
