Female Artist with 3 singles and 2nd album due out in the new year seeks permanent band members for original 60’s R’n’B,Motown,Northern Soul band. We are looking for keys,drums,guitars and horns as permament band members as we have a monthly residency in NW and West London. Distribution/PR in place for 2nd album due out in the new year. Drummers must play with and have a setup with click,musicians must have own kit and transport/or be willing to travel,must be able to read charts,play solo/rhythm confidently and be open to styling for gigs and filmed events. We are not looking for session players but band members who have artistic interest and commitment to the project as we tried the session player route only to find lack of commitment and arrogance to be a major issue! The right candidates will be invited to write and record(artist is PRS member with BBC airplay)and we are aiming to play the festivals this summer with a view to getting on tour and eventually headlining our own tour in Europe and around the world. We want to play covers to bring some money in and get us tight for the originals project which will eventually bring money in once we have committed band members! Must be able to commit to minimum 2 gigs a month and regular rehearsals,age unimportant but attitude and commitment vital,no drugs please!! Also homophobia,sexism,racism and ageism not welcome.
