Details:

We are an online video production business based in Borehamwood, North London (30 minutes from Kings Cross). We work with a corporate client base across many different projects but our core service is the production of short online video presentations using an auto cue and studio based presenter.

We are looking to build our team of presenters with around six fresh new individuals across a range of ages and backgrounds.

Interested individuals must be confident at presenting from an auto cue and must be able to adapt their persona to suit the tone of the client's video, from formal and 'business like' to a relaxed and 'chatty'.

A typical job would include us requiring you for a half or full day. The day or half day would consist of studio set up, tests and lighting tweaks, presentation of half a dozen or so short videos and any retakes with short breaks in between. If a full day, we will resume after a lunch break to present further videos.

Our clients insist on quality so professionalism is key. In return, you will have the chance to work with many exciting businesses and roles may extend to 'on location' shoots and interviews, along with a host of other opportunities within our partner companies.

We are running screen tests throughout May at our studio in Borehamwood. You will be required you to present a one minute sample script using an auto cue (copy of the script provided in advance if you wish) and you will also be required to present a short 'ad lib' segment about yourself. You can expect the entire session to be from 20-30 minutes in total, including a chat about the opportunity and how we work.

We will contact interested parties with details and a time slot in due course.

Key Attributes: - Autocue skills - Ability to adapt presenting style - Punctual and reliable - Ability to commute to Borehamwood - Ability to attend a 'screen test'

Successful presenters will be put on file and contacted with work as it becomes available. Our high turn over of projects mean most presenters get contacted with work on a regular basis. Pay will be from £15 per hour which would work out at £120/full day and £60/half day and rates may vary with experience and upon the project you are working on.

You will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement covering all work you do for us as some videos may be confidential. Many items however will published online so there is big scope for you to add to your portfolio.

Please contact us with your details and a bit about yoursel. A member of our team will contact you to give you some more information. If you have any further questions please feel free to email us at jobs@vizzle.tv

You have applied for this role with the following Covering Letter:

Dear Vizzle,
I am interested in applying for the presenting job that you have advertised.
It sounds very similar to what I currently do - working with companies to produce professionally presented web video. I work regularly with auto-cue and previous clients have been thrilled with my work.
If you would like to see what I do, please follow the link below http://www.lacosltd.co.uk/dynamicdata/ViewOurVideoHome.aspThe brief for this particular project was to present the information in a warm but serious way and inform customers about the companys ISO Accreditations but make it sound more interesting! I was also responsible for writing the script.
Feedback from the client for this particular job reads:

London & Counties Office Supplies Ltd. had a Webshot made to show existing & potential new customers our ISO9001 & 14001 Accreditations and wanted someone to explain the benefits in a professional, business like but pleasant manner. Polly Berrido featured in the film and not only fulfilled but surpassed our expectations. We would have no hesitation in recommending Polly to others wishing to achieve the same aims. Paul Milbourn - Managing Director.

In addition to presenting I am also an experienced and professional writer and have researched and written content for BBC 1, BBC 2, BBC 3 and Channel 4. I worked predominantly on the BBC flagship childrens news programme Newsround, and in their business and economics TV output department. Other recent corporate web presentations have been for specsavers, 5G communications, SWALEC and I also front a monthly magazine programme for Scottish and Southern Energy. References from satisfied corporate clients are available on request. I am natural in front of a camera or microphone and can count interviews with politicians, Olympians, sportsmen, rock stars, celebrities and heads of industry amongst my achievements. If you would like to meet me in person, or to discuss further then please dont hesitate to get in touch: polly@pollyberrido.co.uk or call me on 07939 400738.Many Thanks,Polly
