HANDLE WITH PRAYER is a new six-part contemporary comedy about the enormous daily frustrations and moral conflicts of the Rev Adam Smallbone (played by Tom Hollander - In The Loop/Pirates of the Caribbean 2 + 3).

He's a Church of England vicar, newly promoted from a sleepy rural parish to the busy, socially-divided world of St Saviour’s in Hackney, East London.It's a very modern world he has no experience of... And it shows.

The show is being directed by Peter Cattaneo (The Full Monty). We are looking for 80+ background for a charity Vicars and Tarts Party scene that takes place in the church where everyone dresses as vicars.

Filming one day in early Feb. DATES TBC Scenes to be shot at a church location in Hackney/Shoreditch.

Unfortunately our budget doesn't stretch to being able to pay the standard SA rate for crowd for the numbers we require and so background artists will need to be willing to offer their services for free.

We are also looking for some young, good looking, trendy background for an additional scene in which the church is taken over by a younger, hipper congregation. Filming for two days in mid Feb, DATES TBC.
