WHO NEEDS DADS is a presenter-led documentary for BBC Four, due to air around Father’s Day 2010. It is a celebration of fatherhood and will explore the science and psychology of why a dad is so important to a child’s development.

 WHO NEEDS DADS is looking for 3 teenagers aged between 13-16, along with their Mums and Dads, to take part in half a day's filming in London on 2nd January 2010, between 3pm and 6pm on that Saturday afternoon.

The purpose of the filming will be to discuss various aspects of home life, such as who plays the 'good cop' and who plays the 'bad cop' in the family.

 We will give the family a set of topics in order to spark a conversation about home life.

This will form a very small part of the documentary, examining why Dads are so important to a child's well-being. We will pay a small fee to each family, and will cover travel expenses.

You’ll also get a BBC credit, and a copy of the finished documentary.
