LEAD: Rita (33), white, (main character) has been married to John for 13 years. She still loves him but is no longer in love with him. Though she is an introvert, she has been suppressing her true self for a very long time. During the story, she finds the courage to accept herself for who she really is. She feels awkward, uneasy within her own skin about the possibility that she might be gay. Kissing another woman is involved in this film.

 

SUPPORTING ACTRESS: Hannah (25), white, is secure with her sexuality and is openly gay. She is feminine, sees beauty in the world around her and is artistic. She feels in control of her life and is proactive and goes for what she wants. Kissing another woman is involved in this film.

 

SUPPORTING ACTOR: John (34), white, is a hard working, principled businessman who is very settled in his life. He does not want anything to change. He has been married to Rita for 13 years and has been in the same job for 10 years. He does not smoke and doesnt like the fact that Rita does.

 

SUPPORTING ACTOR: Roger (60+) engages the main character in conversation outside a shop window. He is wise and kind, unassuming, humble and likeable. In terms of this story he is the accepting father figure the main character longs for.
