We require a middle-aged actor with extreme resonance, a grand stage presence and a strong assertive voice for a short art house film to be shot at the University of Central Lancashire.

The film, \'Nothing\', is an existentialist piece featuring one actor in a monologue format, lamenting on life, humanity and the concepts of nothingness, set against the visual metaphors of life, death and everything in between. The role is not physically demanding but we do wish for an actor who has a gravitas to him, who can pull the audience into a complex subject nature with ease. This is a good challenge for any able actor.

We are holding open auditions and upon submission of CV/Photo, we will contact you to arrange an audition to be held at our sound stage. If we offer the role to you, we will provide snacks and refreshments on the filming date. Please note this is not paid work but there is a strong chance of being offered roles in other UCLAN film productions.
