Details:

Topdog/Underdog won the Pulitzer Prize in 2002; it is a play rich in language which focuses on themes of family and identity.

It had a great run on Broadway and at the Royal Court., Mos Def and Don Cheadle have both performed in this innovative play.

This is a two-hander and I’m looking for an actor to play Lincoln;

Lincoln: playing age- 25 to 35, he is black/mixed race with a New York accent. Lincoln is trying to live a respectable life, with a real job. He used to be a hustler/conman but gave it up after the untimely death of his friend. He had a failed marriage, is walked over by his employers and is staying with his younger brother as he has no place of his own.

The production will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of June at Battersea Arts Centre.

Auditions take place on Saturday and then there will be a full time, four week rehearsal period. Expenses for travel will be paid,

I look forward to hearing from hard-working, passionate actors.
