This Santa role is at John Lewis Welwyn.

Don’t look like Santa? Don’t worry! Our Santa costumes are amazing. We give you full training. You’ll be unrecognisable. And, feel just like the big man!

Many of our Santas begin with no experience. We train over 200 each year to work in Shopping & Garden Centres Grottos.

Age is no restriction. It’s personality that counts.

Who are Great Grottos
Great Grottos are the UK leaders in Christmas Grottos. We are the largest employer & trainer of Santas & Elves.

What does Santa do?

• Families visit with you for 2-3minutes. We give you simple techniques and fun dialogue. You will never run out of things to say!
• Your Elf, who is with you during every visit, introduces each family.
• Each child receives a present from you & poses for photos.
• Santa asks all children what they would like for Christmas. Our complete Santa guide will help you throughout.

What shifts are available?
You will be part of a team of Santas. We build your shifts around your availability. You can work a little or a lot.

What’s the costume like?
Amazing. We make them in every size to our special design. We even have optional fake bellies!

Do I receive training?
Yes. You’ll spend time at the Grotto before it opens to familiarise yourself. Plus meet your Elf team and Grotto Manager who support you.
