The Trust wishes to appoint six part-time Dramatic Presenters to present Shakespeare’s work in the setting of Shakespeare’s Birthplace during the summer season (April to October). You will work alongside our existing guiding staff to provide our visitors with a memorable experience of Shakespeare’s words.

 

Working either alone, with a partner or in a small group, you will present a range of Shakespeare’s characters through short sequences of dialogue, individual speeches, and short scenes or sonnets. To be successful in this role you will have excellent interpersonal skills both drawing the public into your performance and encouraging them to try a few lines of Shakespeare for themselves.

 

You will have acting experience, must be comfortable with Shakespeare’s language and be able to communicate your passion for Shakespeare in your own words.
