We’re looking for this year’s Hilda the Witch to bring Halloween to life for our younger visitors.
Ideally you’d be available 22nd to 30th October inclusive (last year’s Hilda is available to cover a couple of days if you can’t do them all)
You’ll have fun helping young children believe they are meeting a real (friendly) Witch. We have loads of props to help bring your character to life, you’ll be based in a fantastic whimsical crooked house, full of interactive toys such as animated spell book, crystal ball, cat, and ghost in a bottle. And of course we’ll provide the witches dress, wig and latex accessories to ensure you look decidedly ugly!
This is a free to enter experience for visitors to our farm based ice cream parlour and diner, generally aimed at between 2 and 8 years. For the last three years Hilda has hosted visits of 4/5 children at a time with accompanying adults for a five minute chat in her crooked hovel, followed by a chance for photos, we’re hoping you can be the one to bring this fun experience to life again this Halloween! HOURS OF WORK
Ideally daily 22nd October to 30th October (last year’s Hilda is available to cover a couple of days if you can’t do them all)
10am to 4pm with lunch provided.
Ideal requirements
Previous experience working with children and/or in a character role is an advantage. Age is no barrier, confident students are welcome to apply.
