Details:

Romeo is Dying is a dark psychological drama about possessive love and tragic passion. When a city financier is told that he is HIV positive he takes us on a distressing journey that unveils the last 12 months of his life. His demons, the lovers and his fiance Carla. Carrying his unborn child, their world has just been turned upside down. He thought he had everything but nothing that would potentially kill him.


Carla is an Oxford educated black Anthropologist. She works at the British museum, she has a serene beauty and is quietly adored by many. She is fluent in several languages, having traveled extensively, she has an exemplary background. Pregnant with our protagonists child, the film reveals how she copes with suicidal tendencies and the overly possessive nature of the man she used to love.


We are looking for a dedicated and determined actress to bring this character to life with urgency and rigor. The film is being produced by a talented and established crew.


Shot on location in London. Written and Directed by Stephen Lloyd Jackson Produced by Andy Mundy-Castle The film is being independently financed and will be entered into all the major festivals.


Primarily Cannes and Berlin. Shooting will commence in the summer for a period of 21 days.
