After having our film 'Forty Broken Words' selected at the Cannes filmfestival 2010, we are working on a new project :
A young Kurdish man was in love with a Kurdish girl but the relationshipbroke up, because the family of the girl didn't approve of it. He was bullied by the girl's family to end the relationship. He desperately look elsewhere for a relationship and fell in love with an attractive English girl . They flirt and he eventually gets her phone number.
But he cannot read or write. He will need the help of someone tocommunicate via text message which is frustrating and humiliating for him.One day she send him a text to meet up in a pub but he has no one to read the text for him so he doesn't go the date and the girl is left waiting.
Next day he bump into her while she's jogging and the young man admits that he is illiterate and begs her to accept his apologies. shooting date early June
