experimental drama about an encounter between a priest and a prostitute. dialogue will be mostly improvised and minimal. The film will most closely resemble the work of abel ferrara, paul morrissey/andy warhol, new york underground. The director is a short filmmaker from an experimental/avant garde background. The producer has made number of short films, as well as just completing her first feature length documentary and music video. All her films have been shown at different events across the Southeast, including a screening at the BFI Southbank. This is a self funded project by the Director, a small fee of £50 will be paid as well as all expenses paid, This will be an excellent showreel piece, full credit, copy of the film provided. Filming dates are on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th December 2008 in Canterbury Kent. A part script/part treatment - which explains the overall blueprint for the movie, can be emailed to those who reply. (include your email address in cover letter) We are looking for an actress 18-30 to play the challenging role of a drug using prostitute, who is able to improvise. Actress would ideally be comfortable with performing topless or at least part nude (underwear for e.g.). any nudity (not full nudity) will not be eroticised or focused on (i.e. no big close ups) and would be revealed as part of the character - stoned, comfortable with her body. There will also be scenes of recreational drug use. this may result in a smoky atmosphere on set, so you should be comfortable about smoking, using tobacco (as part of the characters drug use).
