Theatre Company are on the search for exciting and versatile actors for various shows in Bournemouth. Bourne Rep have made it their mission to be the first to take on new challenges and to break the mould and are proud to be starting the first regular pub theatre night in Bournemouth called ‘Upstairs at the Goat’. The plays will take place once a month on a Monday night with a very short but intense rehearsal period of the weekend before the play. We are looking for actors who are quick at taking direction, love being thrown in at the deep end and enjoy the feeling of being part of a company. The play nights are going to have an informal and friendly feel to them; with the main aim being to bring small scale, quality theatre to a Bournemouth audience. We are casting for a variety of plays, not all company members will be used for every production so the time commitment is not huge. Please note that we are unable to pay the actors for these productions but they will offer a great opportunity for actors to gain more experience, build up their CV’s and work in a very supportive and friendly atmosphere.
