Third year university film student looking for lead actor for a short film being shot in Preston, Lancashire. My aim is to submit the finished film to festivals and gain recognition. I cannot provide any payment as this is a student film; however food will be covered for the shooting, and a copy of the film supplied.

The part will be an enjoyable acting experience. Auditions are to be held in the upcoming week. The film focuses on Herbert, an animal loathing man who inherits a cat from a distant relative. The interference from the mysterious cat becomes a constant annoyance to Herbert. The film primarily focuses on the contrast between the characters, leading to a shocking climax.

Herbert - (Protagonist) An arrogant and unwelcoming man, who prefers his own company. He is set in his ways and likes to be in control. His role mainly consists of action as it shows the interaction between Herbert and the cat. Ideal age range Middle aged but I will audition men ranging from (25-60), character can be of any build.
