About Me

Based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire as a DJ, radio show presenter, community worker, mental health first aider, former NHS race equality chair and Director of 2 organisations, many would think having time for anything else would be impossible. I\'ve appeared on 2 TV shows as a contestant, \'Bargain Hunt and \'A Place In The Sun\', they were both very enjoyable shows in different ways and I learned so much about production protocol. With a name like Errol Brown, many people like to sing to me, I use the jokes to my advantage, smile and play along.

Over the years and as part of a team, I’ve enjoyed creating awareness/raising funds for organisations ‘Prostate Cancer UK, Diabetes, Sickle cell and a local NHS Epilepsy department. I continue to be a structured, passionate, dedicated and determined individual, focussing on supporting the Black Community. Advocacy is my mantra, encouraging or speaking up for those who are not in the room and who’s voice is often not heard. I also see myself as being creative and an ideas person.
In business or daily life there will be turbulent times and finding that balance of nutrition, exercise, mental/physical wellbeing is key to our resilience and sustainability. To guide me through my journey, I believe it is very important to know/find time for self. Family, music and cycling is part of my escape mechanism, supporting others is my purpose and passion. As a way of topping up my resilience and staying focused, I remind myself of my self-penned affirmation which helps immensely.
