General Experience

Highlights of my amateur acting have included playing 'Lurcio' in the first amateur production of Up Pompeii, Captain Mainwaring in Dad's Army and Rene in Allo Allo. I have also played Juliet's father in an outdoor Shakespeare production and have won a Council Drama award as best actor for my role as Joe Green Tom Kempinski's 'Separation'. I have also directed and written productions for the amateur stage.

No formal acting qualifications or training, but several acedemic qualifications from my distant school days.

Considerable experience in a range of genre on the amateur stage and recent TV production experience, both as a cast member and as a supporting actor. Musically, play by ear. Have significant life experience as husband (on marriage number 3) and father (of two young children).

Interests & Hobbies

My children take up most of my time, but I am an accomplished artist (both graphic and fine) and have interests inthings with wings, both aive and mechanical.
