General Experience

As a young woman, I have built a rich academic skill set. I studied Political Science and Sociology at the University of Toronto and then transferred to King's College London's European Politics BA program. I am on a gap year and will graduate next year. In the meantime, I am working part-time at a local fitness studio. I enjoy the boxing sessions offered, which are helping me become the healthiest version of my being.

The personal skills and expertise from working as a server at hotels and restaurants, the time I spent as Virgin Media Student Brand Ambassador, and finally, volunteering as a student hackathon recruiter have provided me with crucial transferrable skills for the modelling world.

While working as a server, my core responsibility was greeting guests positively. In addition, I honed my communication ability, both listening and giving clear directions to my fellow staff.

As Virgin Media's Student Brand Ambassador, I independently secured clientele broadband services, organizing the times they would be installed in their homes. In addition, I paid particular attention to financial transactions and contact details.

As a hackathon recruiter, I networked with global universities to join a virtual inter-university hackathon event. I had a specific deadline to solicit feedback, incorporate the universities' wishes for events, and then produce the hackathon in its finality by summertime.

These academic and work roles required a professional attitude, proactiveness and passion. Most importantly, there were overwhelming times in these environments due to the many tasks in front of me. However, I was comfortable shifting my attention to different places, an essential skill for a model.
