About Me

I am a Master\'s Graduate in music from the University of Durham who is wanting to pursue my love of acting and performing. I have vast experience of amateur experience in performing in the theatre, wanting the opportunity to gain experience in the field of acting on a professional level. I have a DIPAbrsm in Singing and have performed twice as leading lady at the Edinburgh Fringe festival and have performed a variety of comedy, drama and opera. My composition in music at university has been dedicated to finding innovative and conceptual ways of creating music and I have relished in performing contemporary and challenging pieces of music which has greatly developed my skill, originality and attentiveness as an artist which I am dedicated to practise through acting. I looking to expand my experience into the professional performing and will approach every project with a thorough, thoughtful and sensitive art.

I have a DipABRSM in singing. I have performed in Mozart's The Magic Flute for the Durham University Opera Ensemble as well as four chapel choirs whilst at Durham University, performing in Durham Cathedral as well as a world premiere of Dyson's Choral Symphony at London's St John's Smith Square. I have performed solo works with pianist Gary Eyre in Hertfordshire. I have performed with my band in various locations in Durham. My research into international singing styles has meant I have gained skills in Khyāl from North India and Arabic vocal singing.
