Employment History & Experience

Extended information can be found in the 'Other Info' section.

*Theatre Experience*

Professional:
I performed in a dark comedy christmas show titled 'Good Will Unwilling' that toured from venues in London to Godalming and we worked six nights in total. The shows duration was just under an hour.

Amateur:
Productions:
Dead White Males - The Questors Theatre, 2016. (Played Martin)
Stags & Hens - The Questors Theatre, 2016. (Played Robbie)

Additional
I took part in the ‘Questors Theatre Showcase’ which was open to the public. The show had two main sections. The first was Movement where I performed in the piece titled ‘The Audition’. The second was the ‘Acting’ section. My group and I devised a short piece based on the title ‘The Unexpected Visit’. The duration of my performances in the Showcase totalled at around an hour and thirty minutes.
Earlier in the course I along with a partner devised and performed in a ‘Relationship Scene’. This meant we created a thirty minute piece that depicted a relationship from its first meeting through its many stages to its end. These included the flirty early stages, early argument, reconnect, proposal, anniversary, break up and finally meeting up again a year later.

I joined the Richmond Young Company in 2012 and performed as Prince Charming in the show 'Never Judge a Book'. The plot was devised as a group and we performed at Richmond Theatre.

*Filming Experience*

Professional:
I was recently cast as the walk on role ‘Café Barista’ for Fish Finger Films ‘Incognito’. I delivered one line and then worked as an extra in the background for the rest of the filming process.

Amateur:
Along with my friends from school I devised, filmed and acted in short comedic films that we created in our spare time. Our best achievement was the nearly legendary, 45 minute masterpiece known as ‘From Russia With Blood’.

Employment History & Experience

Presenter:
During my final year at University I was selected as a presenter for our big 'Online Broadcasting' piece. This shoot was half an hour long and live, it carried huge pressure as the module was worth 30 credits (double every other module) and we only had one take. Thankfully all went well and I received First Class Honors in my Film Degree.

Other Information

Interests & Hobbies

I love to play video games primarily on the Xbox 360, PS2 and my Pikachu addition N64! In addition to this I am a big fan of the Marvel franchise whether it be the movies, cartoons or comics. Less nerdy hobbies include watching football, reading books and spending time with my friends and girlfriend.

Miscellaneous Information

Good Will Unwilling Information:
A brief summary of my involvement and the plot: In the show I played two large roles. The first was a cute, innocent yet easily manipulated child called Cecil who aids his 'evil' sister when capturing Santa Claus and interrogating him in an attempt to get more presents. In the second act I took more of a leading role as a slightly drunken, conflicted man called Tim who poorly attempts to express his love to his girlfriend, through a phone call. This was done through a monologue that opened the scene and lasted around 6-7 minutes.
When Tim initially burst into the room Santa attempted to hide behind a coat stand, once the phone call was done Tim notices the hidden 'burglar' and chaos ensued. After some stage combat Santa throws Tim to the ground when they realise Tim's girlfriend is arriving. As she walks in Santa successfully hides but drops a present which she picks up. Tim claims it was his intention to give it to her and as he coincidentally kneels down to tie his shoe, she opens the now apparent ring box and says yes to his unsuspecting proposal. Eventually after some shock he realises this is what he wants and the scene ends happily for Tim.

Showcase Information:
At the end of the first year we put on a student showcase where I acted in two separate pieces, the first represented movement and was titled 'The Audition'. In this I played an arrogant yet humorous auditionnee who had a fear of being touched by others. He ended up being forced to take part in a intertwining dance that left him staggered. The characters hubris returned and eventually lead to him partaking in a large fight scene. The final piece represented our acting class, I played the character of Richard who found himself in an awkward first date. He ended up at his dates house when her ex-boyfriend (who still lived there) walked in.
