With Princess Cruises I co-presented a non scripted 'as-live' television show which was broadcast every morning.

This helped me develop a style and ability to deal with lots of different situations as something would always be going on around us as we were filming.

I learnt how to deal with unexpected situations where something would go awry, such as phones ringing or people walking in and out of the studio.

It was valuable time in front of a camera allowing me to work on my on-screen style and presentation techniques including how to ensure smooth links and transitions from one item into another.


In July 2010 I completed a 4-day Aspire TV presenters course focussing on,

Script writing
Ad-lib
Autocue
Studio and location filming
Presentation style and technique
Working with earpieces and dealing with talkback
Talking to time

The course also included talks from industry professionals about different areas of the business, not just presenting.

Princess Cruises

As part of the entertainment department with Princess Cruises I was responsible for introducing the guest entertainers as well as hosting game shows and multiple live events and activities. I was also responsible for assisting in the scheduling of both the activities and the staff required to run them. Working with a small team it was my responsibility to ensure that we provided our passengers with an unforgettable experience while maintaining the motivation and enthusiasm of my team.

I was responsible for assisting in the organisation and execution of a number of different events and activities and during my second season was in charge of the children's department which involved planning and scheduling all of the events for our young guests as well as introducing new and fresh ideas. I was also involved in multiple Bluecoat production shows as a singer and a dancer.

Other Information

Interests & Hobbies

Having spent so much time traveling I have a big interest in visiting new places and seeing exciting parts of the world but I also have an interest in the travel and tourism industry in general, especially the aspects of customer service and quality of product being offered.

I love watching and playing sports such as golf, tennis and especially football, and have a season ticket for Fulham (well somebody has to!)

I enjoy a good debate and as an opinionated person can form a view on most issues oand subjects.

I am a car owner and am prepared to travel for work if necessary.
