General Experience

I have experience in audio/radio samples at the BBC and presenting and voiceovers for a number of promotional web videos. Ihave experience in using autocue and became extremely adept and comfortable using autocue extremely quickly (much to the astonishment of the cameraman and script editor as I was able to seamlessly record script first time, when it had taken others a number of hours to get right).

Qualifications & Training

Presenting training for corporate web-based video, autocue training, voiceover training (all on the job training) and audio training at the BBC.

Accent-neutral voice, impressions and accents (especially British regional accents (Essex, West Country, London, Bradford, Northern to name but a few), Australian).

Piece to camera experience and autocue experience, friendly and welcoming personality, able to engage the audience (both audio and visually), take pride in personal appearance.

Commitment to a task, focus, tenacity and professional work ethic.

Horse riding, fitness, extensive knowledge of biology, ecology and the natural world as well as 5 years' experience of working int hemedia (Top Gear). Runner/researcher experience.

Interests & Hobbies

Horse riding, media, film, food (both cooking and eating), nature, the countryside, shopping, cycling, doing funny voices and impressions of Dynamo (Steven Fraaaaayne) and characters from The Only Way Is Essex., correcting spelling and grammar.

Miscellaneous Information

Without trying to sound like a cliche, I am a fun-loving but hard working person and I am desperately trying to find my niche in the world, which I strongly feel is in the media/presenting/voiceover business. I am highly educated ( I have a Masters in Advanced Methods in Taxonomy and Biodiversity from Imperial College London and the Natural History Museum - don't even ask), on the ball, and I believe I have the necessary attributes to be successful in front of the camera and/or microphone.
